Many times when I feel that I cannot work out, I feel exhausted, I think of the 1%: that I can do it, and then it makes such a huge difference.

Therenare other times that I feel overwhelmed with my schedule: I do the 1% towards my task and I feel so much better. There are times people are challenging so I need to be patient for 1% then I get through it and I feel that I give space for our conversation to go smoother.

I work on being more present through the day so I stop and I say can I be present for 1% that helps me a lot to be able to have a more enjoyable and relaxing life with myself and other people around me.

In essence when I wanted to share my journey in my story to tell everyone life is precious when you are aware of the 1% your life your connection with other people with the Earth and Animals become more grounded I’m so excited to use this method in different area my life. I’m so grateful  and honored to give received this information from my good friend Natalie and her friend  Lucas .

As a manager in a high-pressure tech company, I was always swamped. After reading about the 1% improvement strategy, I started by organizing my inbox every morning, which seemed minor but reduced my daily stress significantly. Gradually, I applied the 1% improvements to other areas—delegating tasks more effectively, scheduling regular breaks, and setting clearer goals for my team. Over time, not only did my productivity improve, but my team's overall morale and output boosted as well. It's amazing how small changes added up to such significant improvements.

Recovery was incredibly tough for me, filled with ups and downs. When I read about the 1% improvement strategy, I started applying it to my journey. Each day, I focused on making one small, positive choice—whether it was attending a support group, reading inspirational literature, or just spending time with supportive friends. These small choices started to build up, and I began to see significant changes in my attitude and resilience. This philosophy has been crucial in my recovery, helping me focus on the progress I'm making every day.

Starting my own business was daunting. There were so many tasks that it felt like I was constantly behind. Implementing the 1% better every day strategy helped me tackle the process bit by bit. Each day, I focused on improving one aspect of my business, whether it was refining my marketing strategy, optimizing my website, or improving customer service protocols. This approach not only made the workload manageable but also improved my business operations significantly over time.

I'm a college student who was constantly feeling overwhelmed with assignments and deadlines. After learning about the 1% better approach, I decided to try it by setting up a study schedule that increased my study time by just 1% more each day. This wasn't much at first, but it gradually helped me manage my time better without feeling overwhelmed. It led to better grades and more free time for my hobbies and social life. This approach truly helped me gain control over my academic life and well-being.

So I tend to be a very glass half full type of person, so I naturally try to find the good things in life. However, like any human, there's always those days that it just is hard to find those positive things so having the one percent better makes it feel obtainable on those days. I just use that as a question anytime I feel not the best but also anytime I feel at crossroads and I'm not sure what I need. I will just ask myself like what will make me feel one percent better right now and honestly the answer is sometimes so simple like, you know what, a bath bath would make my life 1% better right now or if I go outside and sit in the grass for five minutes that'll make my life one percent better right now. And it's funny how when you do that it definitely starts to shift the day and it starts to shift your decisions on how to spend that day. It's been pretty cool.

Nat is my big sister. I have looked up to her and admired her for as long as I can remember, and she has given me a lot of great advice over the years. When she shared “Nat’s Story” with me, written by her friend Lucas, it inspired me. It brought me a much needed clarity at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed with all of life’s responsibilities. This story reminded me that even the smallest of steps can have an impact. It reminded me that I don’t always need to have it all figured out, or be able to do 100 percent all the time. Even just one percent better is something, and it can make all the difference.

Nat’s Advice changed the way I view progress. I’ve always been an all or nothing type of person. I would start something, give it 100% of my time, energy, and attention only to end up burning out and giving up over and over again. After reading I realized 100% was not the answer, 1% was! If I can focus my energy on being just 1% better again and again, then I can improve my life sustainably and substantially. I feel more at ease in my day to day life knowing that it’s okay to take baby steps on the path to improvement.

I always wanted to write a novel but never got past the first few pages. Inspired by Nat's story, I committed to writing just 1% more each day. Some days, that was just a sentence or two; other days, it was a full page. After several months, I had a complete draft. It's not just about the pages I wrote; it's about the habit I built and the confidence I gained. I'm now revising my draft and planning my next steps in publishing
